Five Months Old

Kenley, you are five months old!!

What are you up to these days?

You weigh a little over 13 lbs..

You are close to 24 in. long..

You are still in size 1 diapers..

You are wearing 3 - 6 month clothes..

You are still taking 5 ounces of formula..

You are NOT a fan of rice cereal..

You just started having a little baby food a day..and you LOVE it..

You have lost A LOT of hair in the back..you look like a fuzz head..

You have rolled over both ways..

You can now sit up for a few seconds without face planting..

You absolutely LOVE your Bumbo..

You are still a tummy sleeper but roll over to your back as soon as you wake up..

You scream really loud when you are excited..

You are laughing all the time and its the cutest thing I have ever heard..

You are now ticklish pretty much all over your whole body..

You have been around your momma too long because you love coke cans..you think you are a big girl and know exactly what to do..

You love cell phones..you need to get your own pretty soon : ) ..

I can't believe you are already 5 months old!!

It feels like yesterday that I held you for the first time!!

Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend has been pretty laid back for the most part.

Friday, we just stayed at home and cooked burgers that turned out horrible. Just to let you know, when you are holding a baby you will NOT make good patty's. They were just BAD! Some of them even fell into the fire... :( Lesson learned!

Saturday, we had to get up early to take Kenley to the Pediatric Cardiologist to get a sonogram done on her heart. She was born with a heart murmur and with her being almost 5 months her Pediatrician wanted to check it and see if it has made any progress. We have to wait for the actual doctor to review everything and we go back on Wednesday to discuss the situation. I will keep you all posted! I DID take my camera to post pictures of the little wiggle worm wiggling all over the bed BUT the nurse told me that she couldn't allow me to take pictures...?!?! That's no fun! Kenley did pretty good for most of the time, the other part of the time she was getting very upset at the meany nurse that wouldn't let her eat the sonogram wand. I will tell you this, for a 5 month old I bet she can mess up the paper that's on the bed MORE than any of you can!!! We then headed to Hobby Lobby, I don't know about any of you but I love that store I just walk around and think I COULD make that and that and that! COULD being the key word! I am not crafty by no means. I am SOOOO happy that someone in my family can make bows...Thanks Tiffany!! For dinner we made chicken fried rice and egg rolls which to my suprise came out pretty darn good! We did have some fun with the camera yesterday...

Today, we are having a belated pool party for Kenley's daddy and Michelle. I will post pictures later tonight!

P.S. - I can't wait for our photoshoot next Friday!!

Four Months Old

Kenley, you are four months old!!

(Yesterday the 27th)

What are you up to these days?

You weigh 12.4 lbs...

You are 23 in. long...

You wear size 1 diapers..

You are in 3 month clothes..

You are taking 5 ounce bottles but NEVER finish it because you want to play with it..

Your eyes change colors everyday..

Your hair is brown, although you are losing some in the back..

You sleep at least 10 hours every night..

You have rolled over from tummy to back and back to tummy..

Anytime we lay you back you try your hardest to sit up..

You are getting a little better in the car..

You have just started playing in your jumperoo but still a bit too small for it..

You love when we play "patty cake" you think its the funniest thing ever!

You love to be outside but get a little fussy when you get hot..

You love to look at yourself in the mirror. Who wouldn't with those good looks?

You are still a tummy sleeper..

You are pulling and grabbing at everything, including my hair. OUCH!

You are a total momma's girl and maybe a little spoiled - but I wouldn't have it any other way!

You are growing WAY too fast!!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game....

Hello Bloggers! Sorry the update took so long, it has been a long busy weekend! Friday night we went to watch Preston play baseball, Kenley was not interested at all.

This is what she did 99.9% of the game. Sorry Preston, you should learn how to entertain your little cousin a little better!

Saturday, we pretty much stayed home all day and cleaned :( not fun!! We did have to go to Walmart for a few things and I don't know why but Kenley acts perfectly fine until we get to the check out and her alter ego, as my mom would say, decides to come around and she screams her head off, literally, until we get to the car. I'm sure its the loud beeping noises, I mean seriously does it really have to make that noise for every item? O and did I tell you all that she is not a fan of the car, unless someone is in the back seat with her! She is going to have to get this car riding thing down pretty soon!

Sunday, today, we went to our FAVORITE store in the WHOLE wide world, Babies R' Us! That place is like baby heaven if you just minus all the babies screaming and all the pregnant hormones flying around! We had to go get wipes, sunblock, and a sun hat! The sunblock and hat was for our trip to the park since it was such a pretty day. Well we got to the park, our first time there since we are still new residences to the BIG city of Forney, HA! I honestly believe that the whole population was there today. I new it was time to go by hearing Kenley screaming in my ear, of course, and the little boy that ran over my foot with his bike. We tried staying for pictures on the swing and slide but there were so many big kids that were going to knock us over! Well, maybe next time. We are going to try it again this week one day before her daddy has to go to work!

Anyways, time for dinner then bath time and story time!

Play Day...

WOW! What a day! We have been up playing since 8 am and finally just slowed down!

We started our morning with a little swinging....

Ms. Short Attention Span got bored with that so we then decided to play in our play area...
She then decided she wanted to kick back and relax a bit in a nice warm bubble bath....

"UGH! Hello MOM, I'm naked here!"

After all that she couldn't take it anymore. "No more pictures please, I'm trying to catch some ZZZ's!"
That wraps up our day SO far! I'm sure there will be lots more to come when she decides to wake her from her cat nap!
